His secret was constatntly being on the podium on each event.
Sebastian Eriksson was the first name to win the championship-opener in Pitea. Alexander Westlund followed Kevin Eriksson to step on the podium. Another RX Lites driver from 2014, Richard Göransson showed up in Salen, Sweden and proved that he lost nothing from his speed and skills by winning the second round. Rest of the podium was the same again as Kevin second and Alexander third.
Next round was in Trysil, Norway and a local, RX Lites shining star, Thomas Bryntesson managed to step on the top of the podium. Finally, he succeeded to break his bad luck he got on previous races. GRC celebrity Patrik Sandell finished second and again 3rd place regular Alexander Westlund didnt let anyone to grab his place. Kevin Eriksson was not lucky enough to get to finals in Trysil so, Alex became the new championship leader.
Crews moved back to Sweden for the last round. Final event has organised in Are and has witnessed one of the craziest final races of all the series. Kevin Eriksson and Alexander Westlund collided right at the exit of the joker lap on the very last lap of the race. This caused Westlund to retire from the race and drop down to 3rd palce at the overall standings. Thomas Bryntesson won his consecutive victorty, this raised him up to second place at the classification. Kevin Eriksson grabs the 2016 title by finishing 2nd again in Are.
Kenyan driver Tejas Hirani tried his best to get to know the surface which he is not familiar at all anywhere in Africa! This experience helped him a lot to improve his skills on a SuperCar Lites. He will be using all this experience during his 2016 RX Lites full season campaign. Besides a few race wins he couldn’t manage to finish at the top ten at the series.
